Beyond the Rainbow….

It was such a wonderful treat to take some time away from work and visit Jillann and all her adorable little classmates decked out in their Halloween costumes.  They all certainly couldn’t have been more precious.  I don’t want to brag or anything but Jilliann sure is lucky to spend her days with such huggable and darling little youngsters. This is what can make any one person grin from ear to ear.

As you can see here, Grace is just “a little” camera shy!  :)

Wow… Check out those muscles!  :)

CureSearch….

Leo, Jilliann and myself had the opportunity to attend a Benefit Dance in memory of a precious little boy Tyler who died at the age of five to cancer. This was an event that really “hits home” as a parent. Throughout your child’s life, you do everything you can as their parent to protect them , comfort them and guide them through life in best way that you know how.  But when you are confronted with the #1 disease killer in America’s children, you faithfully have no control of your childs life anymore.

We as parents were honored to have spent our time and money for such a consequential cause. Please help in the FIGHT to cure childhood cancer and visit www.curesearch.org.  Every little donation counts!

FAIRY PRINCESS….

Jilliann definately takes the role as a “Fairy Princess” to the extreme.  She wasn’t too happy having to wear her little fairy dress at first, but once you told her over and over and over again just how adorable she was, you could see that glisten in her eye as she thought to herself “WOW, I’m a fairy princess and I can do whatever my little heart desires”.

She did make quite the exquisite little fairy. She pranced so elegantly through the yard, used her “magic wand” to the fullest of her imagination.  She was so graceful and the played the role as a Fairy Princess very well.

All our leaves…..

As you can see, our yard is just full of leaves which is so wonderful for Jilliann.  Everyday after school, she gets out of the vehicle and heads straight to the pile of leaves (which is the whole yard pretty much).  This time I actually ran in and grabbed my camera to shoot a few pictures.  She has such an imagination and always seems to make something so simple, so much fun!!  And of course it’s always a candid moment for me. :)

Even as I look back when I was a little girl, I can remember almost every “fall” when the leaves turn and eventually make their way to the ground - me, my sisters and brother would always go out to help dad rake up the leaves.  We seemed to always make more of a mess than help clean up.  We loved nothing more than creating the “biggest” pile of leaves and take a gigantic leap into the those pile of leaves.  So great to look back at memories so small, and what mother-nature created instead of “Matell”.
