RYAN & JENNIFER : ENGAGEMENT

They met in college to one day find that their hearts had a connection and a spark of a new love had soon been created.  It is so evident why these two fell in love with one another.  They are nothing short of kindness and beautifulness.  These two truly filled the air with love the day I photographed their engagement photos.  I had so much fun!

Not only was I incredibly excited and anxious to photograph their engagement photos but I am extremely stoked to photograph their upcoming wedding in September here in the Tri-Cities at the beautiful and gorgeous Bella Fiori Gardens.  Thanks Jennifer and Ryan for not only taking such amazing photographs but to have your love shine through them all.  Much Appreciated!!

THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME

Woohoooo - That’s right Sex and the City Movie is finally featuring this week! How exciting!  Although I wasn’t an avid watcher of Sex and the City when it fist initially aired, years later is when I use to sit and watch the reruns and just couldn’t get enough of it.  Not only was the show funny, sexy and intense but they filmed it at one of my favorite cities EVER!!

So as I drag Leo to go and see it with me, I will definitely post my review if it was a two thumbs up or a two thumbs down!!  Can’t wait!!

MEMORIAL DAY

Memorial Day, a day to remember all who have served and died in our military wars!  And at this very moment, there are still many men and woman fighting for our freedom and I couldn’t be more blessed to have them do so.  I am also truly honored to have the love of my life give up everything and to have done the same as what these men and woman are still doing.  Thank you baby!!

And another thank you to Joel Swenson who is currently serving in Iraq today!!  It is truly an honor and I am more grateful and apprecative than ever to love my country!!

Happy Memorial Day!!

MCNARY WILDLIFE REFUGE

There is nothing better than starting your morning by breathing the beautiful air of nature and wildlife.  I’m not much of a bird watcher, although I enjoy the beauty, I felt compelled to tag along with my mom as she went on her morning journey through the wildlife park.

It’s amazing how an old tree or a squeaking bird can be such a highlight in your morning.  I personally enjoy a nice cup of “joe” along with the 30 minute debate on “The View” every Friday morning but somehow I let that go (except for the “joe”), grabbed my camera and started my morning journey with my mom and Leo (oh yes, I made Leo come along too)!!

I definitely feel as though I need to venture out more often with my camera and document the beauty that mother nature has to offer!  It’s honestly a blessing! :)

Happy Saturday!!!

** Okay so maybe I could do without the snakes on my venture ~ but it was still kind of cool!! **

** I so so so love this old looking tree!  It would be a great place to have your pictures taken at! **

** Look at my man, isn’t he dreamy……. **

SAY GOODBYE TO SCRAPBOOKING

As some of you know, their is nothing more memorable that taking all your photographs and incorporating them into a beautiful scrapbook.  But we also know that scrapbooking not only takes up tons of our time but our money as well.  Since I’ve been taking photographs for my brides and grooms on one of their most important days of their lives, I’ve learned that a beautiful keepsake like a wedding album is one of the best things they could ever invest their money into.

After seeing hands on what beautiful albums can be created, I have layed to rest my oh-so-bad scrapbooking skills and will now only create beautiful, elegant and classy albums for all my family photographs.  It’s amazing the burden that has been lifted off of me not having to worry about catching-up on my family scrapbook.

I take my favorite images for each month whether it be a birthday or just a walk in the park and I save them in a folder.  Once the year 2008 is done, I send all my images out to my fabulous album design company and they take care of all the rest.  Phewwwww!!!

There are many different varieties to choose from and even ones to fit everyone’s budget.  It doesn’t get better than that!!  So feel free to send me an e-mail for more information.

CATCHING SOME RAYS

If Jilliann could sleep in her bathing suite, she would be ecstatic!!  The last couple of days we have done nothing but play outside in the pool while soaking up some rays for our new summer tan!! :-) But it looks as though the scorching hot days have left and the gloomy and cool ones are here to stay for a few days.  So off to the mall!! :-)

Happy Tuesday!!

JILLIANN’S PICS OF THE WEEK

We’re almost weeks away from our little Jilliann turning the BIG 3….. wow where does the time go??!!  It’s absolutely amazing how she has molded herself into a funny, adorable, sassy, independant little toddler.  As much as I hate admitting this but I’m going to miss her “TERRIBLE TWO’S”!!  She had definitely kept Leo and I on our toes the entire duration!  Never a dull moment in our houshold let alone a grocery store…..okay so mabe I won’t miss the grocery store mishaps.  I mean having your toddler on floor kicking and screaming because I told she had to only get the sugar free Popsicles instead of the chocolate fudge ice cream bars is not necessarily my way of enjoying a trip to the grocery store.  But those looks on the other customers faces will always be priceless in my book!! :-)

Happy Wednesday Ya’ll!!
