I so much love love love being a mom and enjoying the day with my family on Mother’s Day couldn’t be more of a blessing.  Jilliann just knows how to melt my heart and Leo can never tell me enough how appreciative he is for all that I do. 

I had a very short conversation with a friend today but it was the few things she said that really stuck to me.  She went on about how today she was washing clothes, made all the beds and swept her kitchen and bathroom.  And in my selfish mind I responded with a “Wow, what a great way to spend your Mother’s Day….CLEANING!!”  But what was so great is what she said in reply! ”I know, but I am thankful I have the people I do to pick up after and take care of.”  Because in all actuality, we wouldn’t be who we are if it wasn’t for the familes we have and to have them means taking care of them in your own motherly way. 

I couldn’t have been more pleased taking care of my family today and for every day forward for that matter!! :-)  And thank you to my little Jilliann for the sweet plant and Leo for the flowers and my oh-so-fabulous laptop for all my traveling needs.  Your simply the best and the most selfless person I know.  I love you baby!!!

** I also want to give a big SHOUT OUT to my nephew Kaden ~ He turned the BIG 4!!!  Happy Birthday Kaden!!  We love and miss you!!
